Kinneir Dufort (KD) is a world-class user-centred innovation and product development consultancy, specializing in the medical and consumer health sectors. As part of the SteriPack Group, we collaborate globally with contract manufacturing facilities in Europe, the USA, and Asia, alongside additional design and product development teams in New Jersey and Colorado.
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our talented team and contribute to delivering exceptional solutions for our clients.
About the Role
We are seeking a project manager with experience in product development and consultancy environments, who is comfortable managing multiple projects with varying timescales. While following a project management process is important, our project managers are also expected to ensure our clients are regularly kept informed by working closely with their project teams. You will be responsible for guiding and supporting your team, as well as leading your own projects.
The role will be focused on managing the delivery of multidisciplinary product development projects, working on everything from gathering user insights & concept generation through to detailed design, formal verification and manufacture.

About you
We are seeking an exceptional project manager who is passionate about designing a better world and achieving project success. Our Project Managers play a crucial role within a collaborative and effective team, working alongside multidisciplinary teams assembled for specific contracts. Therefore, it is essential to be a natural collaborator with a disciplined approach, capable of prioritising tasks effectively and consistently delivering high-quality work.
The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the commercial aspects of project delivery, recognising the impact on both our clients and KD. This role requires an individual who can share their knowledge and expertise while being receptive to learning from our skilled team. The ideal candidate will possess leadership abilities combined with an approachable, down-to-earth demeanour that fosters trust and enthusiasm among team members and clients. Experience in coaching, mentoring, or line management is beneficial but not mandatory. Additionally, the successful candidate will collaborate with clients to define their needs and ensure clear communication regarding project status at every stage.
Joining our team as a Senior Project Manager, you'll contribute your wealth of experience to our projects. Your skills and experience
Whilst you do not need to meet all of these points, please ensure you meet the majority of them before making an application:
Consultancy experience.
Demonstrable experience managing multi-disciplinary projects.
Experience in medical device development or product development in regulated markets is essential.
A calm, level-headed approach to managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
A people person with experience implementing various project management approaches; including mentoring and directing other team members.
Experience in working to specific standards e.g. ISO9001 & ISO13485.
Capable of establishing strong client relationships, committed to a results-oriented approach, and dedicated to continuous professional development.
Strong commercial understanding from a company and client perspective.
